10 Reasons To Give Thanks To God

10 Reasons To Give Thanks To God

It is a common practice to say thank you to someone that you know or have a certain level of interaction with. Sometimes, it may be hard to find the positive things that can remind us of the good that God has done to us. Here are 10 reasons why we should give thanks to God:

1. In Praise of Love Everlasting

Thus, the love of God is love that transcends all understanding and covers them as the day that is independent of the sun. He also loved us even when we were dead in our sins and gave His only Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that whoever believes in Him may have everlasting life and have a personal relationship with Him. But always and in all circumstances, God’s love for us is sure and unwavering.

2. Thanks to God Almighty for His wonderful Grace

For by the mercy that came through the call some came to understand that it is by God’s grace that we are saved from sin and death. It is the biblical truth that we cannot do anything that would earn us our salvation because it is by the grace of God. Each day we should have a reason to stand strong in the grace that has delivered us from the hold of death.

3. For His Mercy And Forgiveness

No matter how many times we let Him down, God is always willing to forgive our sins and bless us abundantly. He is described as merciful, a man of wrath, and abounding in love. In this case when we have confessed all our sins he forgives us of all injustices through the shedding of Christ’s blood.

4. In Appreciation of His Faithfulness and Protection

The rain that falls in life does not deter God from fulfilling His word. He will not abandon us, He will not forsake us. He is my refuge and my shield and the one who guards me from real evil. Similarly, there is utter dependence on Him which can be relied on at every moment.

5. In Appreciation For His Gift of Eternal Life

And even if death was a great enemy it no longer controls us because we are now ruled by the power of the resurrection of Jesus. As believers, we are no longer separated from God because we have entrusted ourselves to the care of Jesus Christ; therefore, we shall live with him in heaven. This is a great hope and that is why there is cause for celebration always.

6. With the Lord’s Guidance, We Pursue His Purpose & Calling

We can also be grateful that God has plans to bless us – to prosep, and to give us hope and a future. He has created all of us and has endowed each one of us with abilities to serve His purposes in this world. It is when we follow the Way that our lives are fulfilling.

7. In Gratitude For The Things That He Has Given & The Favors Bestowed

Life, abilities, knowledge, and all other blessings that we possess are gifts from God’s hand. Despite the financial difficulties, He remains a faithful God, who meets our needs in every season. If it means receiving a blessing in whatever form or size, we should count it all blessings and be thankful.

8. For Answered Prayers

Another thing that I like about praying is that you have an idea of what God is going to do regarding our prayers. We can develop a spirit of thankfulness when we notice that He is intervening in our lives in response to asking Him for help.

9. Book of Words That Will Guide Them Through Life’s Challenges

All in all, we can be thankful that God did not allow us to be on our own and try to understand how things are run. By the Word of God and relying on the Holy Ghost all one needs to live a good life is provided for in scripture. It breaks the yokes of fear and confusion because God’s wisdom is expressed in it.

10. In appreciation for this precious gift of salvation, I beseech thee, O Lord, to forgive all my sins and grant me eternal life.

Above all, it means we can wake up every morning knowing that there is a God who has given us the ultimate gift of salvation. In every language, no gift is sweeter than salvation from our sins, deliverance from the second death, and receiving a new life in Christ. Our ultimate security is guaranteed through the victory Jesus achieved for us.

Conclusion

In conclusion, by giving many thanks to God, we are made richer as our hearts and minds are opened even more to becoming more aware of God’s love, grace, mercy, and faithfulness towards us. Salvation, forgiveness of sins, protection, and the very creation of man Himself, granting eternal life and a purpose to our existence, cannot be overstated. These are the simple truths dished out by the Lord as blessings, answers to prayers, and solutions to life’s problems as found in the word of God.

More to that, the hope of attaining salvation through the lamb of God, Jesus Christ is another form of security. This mindset makes the acknowledgment and appreciation for such blessings suffice enough to bring about a change in the outlook toward life. This is why we should always render continuous thanks and praises unto God on account of HIS love which is always dependent on us and his bountiful blessings.
